Care providers have been invited to a health and social care recruitment event at Castle Mall, Norwich, on Wednesday 9th October from 10.30am – 1pm.
This event is being held by Norfolk and Waverney Health and Care Partnership in partnership with “Get Me Out The Four Walls”, a charity which supports mums and dads with postpartum depression back into the world of work. It aims to support individuals who have been outside of the job market for a considerable amount of time and help them become more informed about the entry-routes into health and social care.
Sessions will focus on organisational values and the fundamental skills needed for employment within the sectors, as well as guidance about Apprenticeships within the health and social care sector. There will be an emphasis on job application writing, interview guidance and how to search for a health and social care vacancy.
This event aims to empower candidates to think about the following:
- Work Experience (maybe a couple of hours a week, or even full time for a couple of weeks)
- Volunteering (an opportunity to gain personal satisfaction and provides flexibility)
- Bank work
- Part-time / Full-time work
If you would like to attend and represent your organisation in a career fair style format where customers can see your opportunities, please get in touch with Paul Martin by Tuesday 10th September using the contact details below. Furthermore, let Paul know if you would like to introduce your organisation at the start of the session (15 minutes max).
This flyer gives an idea of the structure of the day. Further particulars will be sent out as they are known.
