Research: housing environment for people with a learning disability
Thera Trust are working with King’s College London on a research project, aimed at people who have a family member or a friend with a learning disability, to better understand the housing environment for people with a learning disability.
The project is funded by Cheyne Capital who have purchased properties for people in supported living. The research aims to find out the social impact of these types of investments, but also, what is important to people with a learning disability and their families in relation to the housing options available.
The survey is available online or on paper and is completely anonymous. The results of the survey will be complied into a research report, which may not be publicly available; however, those who participate are able to receive a copy if they wish.
The survey is aimed at people who have a family member or a friend with a learning disability and as a thank you, King’s College London are offering a £15 gift card to those who are willing to fill out a survey.
Online the survey can be reached via the following link:
The deadline for filling out the survey is Monday 9th March 2020.
