Skills for Care update their essential training guidance
Skills for Care have updated their current guidance for employers, learning providers and in-house trainers on face-to-face training and assessment during COVID-19.
With the government beginning to ease lockdown and changes to advice about returning to work, Skills for Care have reviewed and updated their guidance on face-to-face training for the social care workforce. The priority remains the safety and protection of people who access care and support services and workers who are providing care and support.
During this period, Skills for Care still encourage you to use digital solutions to deliver and access training, as far as is practical. If digital solutions are not practicable, then a thorough risk assessment must be carried out to ensure the safety of all involved.
